ABOUT ME
Welcome to my site! Here you will find my favorite personal, educational, and professional projects. I have a passion for creativity and life long learning. I am originally a Tennessee girl but spent most of my childhood in the Greenville, South Carolina area. I recently completed my Bachelors of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in writing for mass media from Clemson University.
Some of my prior experiences include working for GE Ventures in Seattle, Washington. There, I assisted with a start-up business that focused on re-selling used MRI machines instead of wastefully scrapping them. The work I did through GE was influential in identifying buyers and sellers and communicating with current clients. The experience was also developmental in my marketing and communication skills.
More recently, I worked for Clemson Online as a Video Production intern. In this position, I learned how to use video editing software and cultivate my understanding and methods of visual story-telling.
My most recent endeavor has been working for Visit Clemson tourism department. Here, I am responsible for our website and social media. This position has taught me a lot about creating a personal brand through social media and maintaining an online presence.
When I am not working you'll probably find me taking a walk through my neighborhood or the SC Botanical Gardens (my happy place). I also love a good book and will never turn down a cup of coffee or sour gummy worms.
